Our Amazonite is from the Mona Mine, El Paso Co., CO. We mine the amazonite and can offer you a great deal large quantities. Rates are discounted when you buy at least two pounds of any grade. Amazonite cutting rough can be purchased by the pound. We have three grades of quality based on:
- Color (a deep bluish green is the most desireable)
- Consistency of the color throughout the crystal (our amazonite tends to have excellent consistency)
- Luster of the natural terminations (found on partially broken crystals that have little specimen value)
See photos below:
A. $40 - 60/lb
B. $20 - 30/lb
C. $10 - 15/lb

*This incredible matrix display of smoky quartz, red and purple fluorite, and microcline (w/albite) is breathtaking.
Nearly flawless, and very rare (red fluorite in Colorado is very scarce), this specimen belongs in a museum, or on a serious collector's shelf. |
